Since they hated knowledge and did not choose to fear the Lord, since they would not accept my advice and spurned my rebuke, they they eat the fruit of their ways and be filed with the fruit of their schemes.

Zephaniah 3:1-2
Woe to the city of oppressors, rebellious and defiled! She obeys no one, she accepts no correcton. She does not trust in the Lord, she does not draw near to her God.

Jeremiah 5:3
O Lord, do not your eyes look for truth? You struck them, but they felt no pain; you crushed them, but they refused correction. They made their faces harder than stone and refused to repent.

Jeremiah 2:23-24
How can you say, “I am not defiled: I have not run after the Baals”? See how you behaved in the valley; consider what you have done. You are a swift she-camel running here and there, a wild donkey accustomed to the desert, sniffing the wind in her craving- in her heat who can restrain her? Any males that pursue her need not tire themselves; at mating time they will find her.

Isaiah 29:15-16
Woe to those who go to great depths to hide their plans from the Lord, who do their work in darkness and think, “Who sees us? Who will know?” You turn things upside down, as if the potter were though to be like the clay! Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, “He did not make me”? Can the pot say of the potter, “He knows nothing”?

Ezekiel 18:31-32
Cast away from you all your transgressions, by which you have transgressed against Me, and make you a new mind and heart and a new spirit. For why will you die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of him who dies, says the Lord God. Therefore turn – be converted – and live. [amplified]

Lamentations 2:19
Arise, cry out in the night, as the watches of the night begin; pour out your heart like water in the presence of the Lord. Lift up your hands to him for the lives of your children, who faint from hunger at the head of every street.
