Romans 1:18
The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.

I read the newspaper every day. It can be depressing to read some of the sad, sad stories, and yet, there is ample evidence of God’s wrath. Sometimes, it’s easier to see “their” wickedness and not see our own. But, you may ask, “How do I suppress the truth?” And I say, each time we do not speak truth, we allow wickedness to prosper.
